Week 13 INJURY REPORT: Buccaneers at Chargers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Injuries:

S Chris Conte (chest) and C Evan Smith (knee) were ruled out by the Buccaneers. DT Gerald McCoy (foot), TE Brandon Myers (hip), RB Jacquizz Rodgers (foot) and S Ryan Smith (shoulder) are listed as questionable.

While Payton Barber is still active, with Jacquizz Rodgers out, expect to see a lot more of the work load going to Doug Martin.

San Diego Chargers Injuries:

LB Jatavis Brown (knee) and CB Brandon Flowers (concussion) are out this weekend. TE Asante Cleveland (concussion, knee), DT Tenny Palepoi (shoulder) and WR Tyrell Williams (shoulder) drew questionable tags.

Keeping an eye on Tyrell Williams is something that should be done. it will come out prior to the 1:25 start today is he’s suiting up or not; if not, that’s a big loss for the Chargers with their already shrinking offense.

Another One Gone: Jerry Attaochu Out for the Season

The Chargers have played in 11 games this season. Of those 11, nine have had a season-ending injury.

Wide receiver Keenan Allen (ACL, after Week 1), running back Danny Woodhead (ACL, Week 2), inside linebacker Manti Te’o (Achilles, Week 3), corner Jason Verrett (ACL, Week 4), inside linebacker Nick Dzubnar (ACL, Week 5), defensive end Caraun Reid (ACL, Week 7), running back Dexter McCluster (forearm, Week 8), nose tackle Brandon Mebane (biceps, Week 10) and now a linebacker in Jerry Attaochu.

He was the Chargers’ 2nd round pick in 2014. He broke his foot Sunday in the 4th quarter; it was caught on the turf, sources said.

It’s a blow to the depth at the linebacker position and it’s a blow to him. He’s young talent and need the reps to improve his game.

He had already missed 3 games this season due to a high ankle sprain and now he’ll miss the last 5.
