Chargers sign Doug Legursky in place of injured Nick Hardwick

Doug

Earlier reported by Adam Schefter, Chargers had plan to sign this interior Offensive Linemen in place of Nick Hardwick who was placed on IR with neck injury. Well reported by NFL.com, the Chargers have indeed signed Doug Legursky. Details of the contract are unknown at this point, but I’m thinking a 0ne-year.

The 28-year played 11 games for the Bills in 2013, but has also played center in his 5 year career. Although having 5 years in the league, only 2 of those years he can say he started every game. So stepping up and having to protect Philip Rivers in the pocket may show challenge to Legursky. We shall see come Sunday when the Chargers take on the Seattle Seahawks in the Chargers season opener at Qualcomm.
