Chargers practice squad – so far

Yesterday, NFL teams started announcing the players they are adding to their practice squads. Some come as a shock, while others were obvious choices as soon as they didn’t make the cut. Here are the players the Chargers’ kept around.

The Chargers announced VIA their website an addition in Kaleb Eulls.

DT Kaleb Eulls – Originally signed as an undrafted free agent last year by the Saints, Eulls appeared in four games for New Orleans in 2015. The Saints tried playing him at offensive line this preseason. The 6-4, 309-pound Eulls started all 52 games at Mississippi State from 2011-14, recording 118 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, one pass defensed and one fumble recovery.

Still really new to the process, Ben Gardner stood out the most in both training camp and preseason games.

Dom Williams really stood out in the last two preseason games and will be a great addition.

Trevor Williams looked to mesh well with the secondary and is a good addition to the practice squad.

His past with Jeff Davidson is a main reason Chargers were in talks with Austin Shepard. He’s a great addition to the practice squad and to the team if time came.

A possible future Charger, was a real standout in the preseason.
