This week there was some good news. The good news that Joey Bosa was in his first practice as a Charger, but that he probably wouldn’t see any game time, yet. He’s not the only one that may not see the field in Indy.
Antonio Gates, the oldest member of the Chargers family, may not suit up along with Bosa this week, due to a hamstring issue. Both of the statuses will follow todays practice or in may become a game-time decision.
With Antonio Gates possibly out, you can expect to see a lot more targets come to Hunter Henry, the Chargers other up-and-coming Tight End. Philip Rivers doesn’t have the connection and chemistry as he does with Gates, but there’s no better time to get used to a guy.
The Chargers play the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday. Without Danny Woodhead, Keenan Allen and now possibly without Antonio Gates. Philip Rivers has been weaponless before, so let’s see if he can make some magic happen.
